Now his son Scott Burdo and wife Peggy have brought the whole concept to Hawley as Generation II, with the same philosophy and apparently no interest in toning anything down.
The decor is best described as everything that did not fit anywhere else: dice, furry spiders, vintage signs, and decorations that seem to follow no logic other than maximum visual chaos. The tip jar sits inside a fake urinal mounted behind the bar. The owner regularly appears in heart-covered pajamas and sings for the crowd. There is karaoke, music trivia, and EMO nights on the calendar, but the real entertainment is the bar itself on any given evening.
Crazy Country Club serves food until midnight and stays open until 2am, making it the undisputed late-night destination in the Hawley area.
